An article from the French Boxing Federation reports that Adam Booth, the manager and trainer of WBA heavyweight champion David Haye, is exploring the possibility of a rematch between Haye and Jean-Marc Mormeck. Booth was in France over the weekend at Palais des sports Marcel Cerdan to watch Danny McIntosh stop Thierry Karl to win the EBU light heavyweight title. In November 2007, Haye was dropped in the fouth round but came back to knock Mormeck out in the seventh round of their cruiserweight title fight.

The first fight was one of Hayes most enjoyable scraps but what has Mormek done since then? Nothing. If Haye is going to just make fights like this then he should ****ing retire. Didn't he say a few weeks ago he was looking to make the best fights possible in the next 10 months? What a joke.

Really cant blame haye! Wlad doenst want to fight and so haye has to fight his mandatory! Chageav isnt able to fight in england so mormeck is the logical choice! Most money can be made with mormeck than with rahman

your kidding right?First of all it was Haye who pulled out of the july 2nd date to fight Wlad not the other way around. and 2ndly there are a host of top ten true contenders waitning to fight that are rated well above Mormeck.

The WBA ranks mormeck at like 8,(just so how screwed up and corrupt the WBA is) didnt Mormeck just recently sign with King? SO WE KNOW HOW THAT GOES!If HAYE ducks Chagaev ,why not fight Potvekin, or Peters , or Arreola,Robert Helenius , Denis Boytsov , just about anyone of these are better thank Mormeck,HecK Iwould even prefer Haye to fight Briggs rather that a past it cruiser weight that Haye has already beaten.

I know that mormeck isnt hayes mandatory! Chagaev is but he wont get past the medical! boytsov povetkin and ustinov(k2 promotions) all wont fight haye!
boytsov has his hand injured! povetkin wont step up for sure!
dimitrenko will fight sosnowski ! Its either gonna be rahman or mormeck!
Mormeck is willing to fight and financially this ist the biggest fight that can be made right now for hayes mandatory defence!

sorry Hayhammer but your kinda reaching here.Boystsov manager already said his hand is on the mend and should be ready to fight soon.And you can't say Povetkin won't step just becuase he baled on fighting Wlad Kltischko.Infact Atlas his trainer has stated they would like to fight Haye.and I would bet Ustinov would jump all over that fight.And what about Peters,Aerriola,Robert Helenius ,Hell I will take Thompson,Briggs or Banks over an old past it cruiser weight that Haye already beat.
