My take on the situation is that Hopkins will not take a fight with Chad, He wants to fight Pascal and call it a day, He knows most likely Chad will beat Pascal In the rematch, And Then that leaves him to fight Chad if he wants to become the oldest legitamate world champion. I say Hopkins is lying, he just wants the easy way out, its obvious...your opinions???

what?? You do realize hopkins just turned 46 years old. You expect hopkins, a 46 year old, to wait till he's just about 47, or after he's 47 to get another shot? No way man, time is now. If he can get the rematch, he needs to everything in his power to make it happen as soon as possible.
Think about it. Let's say dawson vs pascal happens. When would this fight take place? June, July? Let's say Dawson wins, knowing dawson fights about once a year, hopkins vs dawson likely doesn't happen till 2012 or at the very earliest at the very end of 2011. Either way hopkins is either just shy of 47 or over 47. -

Dawson takes forever and fights boring in the last few years...im a fan and want to see a good fight that contract don't mean **** to me. This is boxing bull**** happens all the time Hopkins Vs Pascal II is what most want and was a good fight IMO last time where the Dawson fight ******.Comment

I don't see the hype in Dawson, he's boring LOL. Pascal is much more entertaining and a rematch with hopkins is much better considering their fight was very entertaining.Comment

Dawson doesn't have any tools to trouble Hopkins with. He's weak on the inside. Attention lapses. Just totally tailor made for Hopkins. Compare their fights respectively against Tarver and Pascal and it should answer everybody's question.Comment
