JMM's best non-controversial win is over Juan Diaz. and lets face it, thats not that great of a win. I dont consider the Juan Diaz that Marquez beat to be better than say Marvin Johnson.
Look like I said earlier on my thread, I have Michael and JMM about equal right now but since JMM is still Elite and fighting I believe by the end of his career he will accomplish way more than Michael. JMM will soon move up to 140 and I believe he has a good chance to beat any champion up there, lets see what happens!!!

problem is Robbie was an underachiever, although he had some notable wins over green Barkley and out of shape Duran.

I think the Klitschko bros and Marquez bros sort of fit the bill of this thread more so than them, since Hagler pulls most the weight.

The Klitschko bros are easily the best team in terms of 'dominance'. but the Marquez brothers probably fought the best competition on both sides. Rafa is very underrated, with his wins over Mark Johnson, Tim Austin and Israel Vasquez.

        we'll see.

I personally see Marquez losing badly in the future. I think hes a great fighter ripe for the picking at this point in his old age.

I would even say that his wins over Mabuza are underrated. After Marquez, Mabuza was beating Yonhhy Perez in a pretty good fight until he was stopped in the last round.

I dont see any threat for him in the light weight division other then humberto soto, which is a fight I would like to see. But him moving up in weight will be tough but I still see him going toe to toe with fighters in those divisions, even if he loses.

no, the Katsidis fight and in general his worse and worse defense. Katsidis is...decent...but Marquez should have wiped the floor with a fighter of his type. If Katsidis had any type of a good right hand, he could have stopped Marquez that night.

I could be wrong, and in fact Id love for Marquez to prove me wrong. I just think he will be beaten pretty badly if he fights say Bradley or Khan.

katsidis is a strong ****er and put a lot of pressure on JMM and look what JMM did to him, If the ref had not stopped it JMM would of ****ed him up for good!!Khan would give JMM more problems becasue of his height but Bradely would get schooled. IMO JMM would still beat Khan via UD!!

...Mmm...I don't know about that, I mean look at how poorly they rap together:

Theres a huge disparity in the greatness between Spinks brothers, Michael is a damn great ATG and the best out of everyone mentiond by a long way, and Leon well Leon is Leon.
Ruben, at the risk of bringing up triangle theories, do you think Wlad would have done as well against Lennox Lewis as his brother? I think it's a valid question. The size and style comparisons are close enough. I've seen Wlad flopping around against lesser hitters than Lennox. Frankly, I think the younger K brother might have been out for the count against Lewis with just one good shot. Vitali ate a couple of blows from Lennox that his brother just can't handle. And, let's be honest, has either brother fought a better opponent?
