Everybody's targeting the winner of this. Because Chavez and Zbik both suck.

Let's try and understand this. WBC strips the true champ Martinez, elevates Zbik to false champ, madates the false champ (Zbik) vs how did I even get a ****** silver belt (Chavez Jr), than mandates the winner of this ****fest to face Lemieux within 2 fights. Whats next, mandate the winner of Zbik/JCC Jr/Lemieux to face Canelo? Sounds like Sulaiman promotions to me!

Hey WBC since Floyd is champion EMERITUS at 154 you should make another belt and elevate Manny to GOLDEN champ at 154 and since Canelo is SILVER champ at 154 you should make yet another belt and make El Perro BRONZE champ at 154. Then, you should mandate all fighters in a tourney and the winner is the PLATINUM champ at 154!!! What do you think Jose Sillyman?

Well if he fights the winner of these two he will be, lol. But seriously, I'd like to see Lemieux in there with better opposition before making a final judgement, but he seems to have pretty good power in both hands, keeps his hands up and throws some nice combinations. Should make for some entertaining fights down the road.

I don't understand why people even discuss titles, and belts anymore. What's the point. You all are discussing belts for no reason. They essentially mean nothing, and are handed like a gift to whoever is the popular choice at the time.

I just look at who each person fights. The better the guy you beat is it's own little title in itself. Right now Lemiuex is on a good track, and I look forward to seeing him against better and better competition.

You mean he will soon have a paper title belt if he gets the winner of Zbik v Chavez. He won't be a champion until he beats some of the top guys.

Don't be so hard on Lemieux. He's very young.

First Rubio, and then the winner of Zbik-Chavez and then Martinez is a natural progression for Lemieux.

But I can't imaging Chavez will fight an opponent who punches like Lemieux.
