Pacquiao vs Mayweather... HBO AND Showtime Co-PPV?

If both sides come to terms, would the fight now be co-promoted and televised as a co-PPV by both HBO and Showtime? Remember Lewis vs Tyson?

Imagine the PPV success of the fight if both HBO and Showtime promote it?

Could Bob be up to something here?

first of all, hbo and showtime aren't promoters so they can't co-promote this fight.

I don't remember lewis/tyson being co-televised by hbo and showtime.

Aren't 24/7 and the pre-fight shows they plan to televise on CBS a form of promotion? And Lewis vs Tyson was an HBO & Showtime event.

Next time get your **** together before you post...

Lewis vs Tyson was promoted by Main Events and was a pay-per-view shown as a joint collaboration between HBO and Showtime. At the time, it would go on to be the highest grossing event in pay-per-view revenue history, generating a whopping $106.9 million from 1.95 million PPV buys in the USA alone.

So, regardless of whether they are promoters or not, they can still promote an event with a pre-fight documentary type series right?

If they ever do fight, I think that's how it's gonna go down... As stated in the recent article by Mr. Marely, Manny will likely become Showtime's PPV King, Floyd will come back on HBO PPV and when (if) they finally come together to fight, they'll do it as a joint venture PPV with both HBO and Showtime being involved. It will be done much in the manner that Lewis vs Tyson was done, and it will be Huge... Bob, Showtime, HBO & Golden Boy all know what's going on here...

Mayweather is not tied to HBO.
Pacquiao is not tied to Showtime.
