Yeah man, Evander was getting stopped in this fight if it would have continued. It was a sad sight to see. If he has to keep fighting just for money, maybe he needs to sell his mansion and live within his means.

Exactly. I'm sure he can make good money from his fame. Maybe his financial problems are just too big to be solved by selling a house?

Holyfield didn't start to use his head as a lethal weapon until the Lennox Lewis fights, where you could see him getting frustrated and looking for some way to get an advantage...

From one Holyfield fan to another, I think you should watch both Tyson/Holyfield fights again. Holy was blatantly using his head.
Even as a 13 year old Holy fan, watching it live, this was very obvious to me. I would love to see these fights again, minus the butts. I still think Holy wins, but it would have looked different than it did.

Well it would be a good start. Having a 100 room mansion can't help things. Can you imagine what his electric bill would be a month. Anyway, it would be a start. What else is he supposed to do? It's to late to wear a condom and not make 73 kids.

I'll go ahead and give them a watch again. The thing that does bother me is Tyson used to be one of the dirtiest fighters in the sport. He used to elbow, knee, butt and even tried to break Botha's arm. But nobody seems to mention that when talking about Holyfield vs. Tyson. I still think the headbutt in round 7 that rocked Tyson was not intentional, but I also think when he realized how much that hurt Tyson, it became a weapon in his future fights. And thanks for the intelligent response, I will go watch both fights again this week when I got some free time. Nice to see that people can disagree without trashing one another and being immature and name calling...

thats what i just couldn't take seeing

this was the same man that was warrior till the end he came back alot of times when people counted him out but he needs to retire desperately it's not that he is a bad fighter now but what made him so great is gone completely and it's only going to get worse if he keeps going

Definitley my man. I have no reason to trash anyone , unless they're being complete idiots and purposely trolling.

I'm not saying that Tyson was a clean fighter. I think we all know better than that. Especially after seeing him freak out and nibble on Holy's ears....lol
I'm only talking about the Holyfield/Tyson fight though and not any of their other fights.

It used to bother me when people were completely focused on Mike being the bad guy, (which he was), and completely ignore Evander's butts. I think after the first fight, the ref should have been on top of this.
