Thx for posting the link to the fight.... I'm glad I watched it cause reports about this fight from both sides seem to be totally misleading. Ones reporting the 8 knockdowns made it sound like a completely one sided, non competitve fight - and this article from Corleys manager makes it sound like an ugly, intentional foul fested farse. Neither were the case. This fight had a few issues, but nothing near what either side made it out to sound like. Corley was clearly exhausted and Mattysee was not nearly as "dirty" as Corleys manager made him out to be (although there was a lot of pushing down on Corleys head). The whole medical tests thing though, starting with a 6 a.m. surprise wake up - does sound a little fishy though (if it truly was a surprise).
And, WTH with Evander Holyfield... he clearly did not want to continue, as that cut he was crying about (the blood making it so he couldn't continue) was really not that bad. It's too bad Evander went out like that. BTW, did anybody catch Sherman whispering to Evander after the fight?
