More Floyd and Pac fans throwing insults at each other... that's got to be the biggest turn-off in the forums nowadays....

Well, I can definitely see Floyd never fighting again; that is, I think it's a possibility. His legal problems may keep him out for this calender year. Also, his style largely relies on quick reflexes, and he'll slow down because of age sooner or later (I believe he turns 34 in a month... that's an interesting fact). Couple that with his desire to remain perfect, and I can see him never fighting again.

As a diehard fan, I still hold on to hope that him and Pac step into the ring. What a historic event that would be...

Maybe the HBO execs are ****ing their heads against the wall right now or they are accusing each other of screwing this one up.

This competition will give the sport a nice shot at the arm...
115 million CBS viewers against HBO's 28Million is definitely going to help the sport.

If they can really put out a TV series similar or better than 24/7, this will make the name Pacquiao and Mosley a big name among casual fans.

Yeah, stick to what was discussed. Floyd? the #1 fighter?

            only 1 fight in 2010
            only 1 fight in 2009,
            no fight in 2008?

And you still consider him #1???

Even if Pacquiao says I'm willing to take the random test, you still don't believe him anyway. What's the point??

Floyd still is the number 1 ducker.

I was thinking along the same lines, who knows we just might get boxing back on local networks again.

                I can just imagine that.

I can't understand why they are not willing to give some of the demands of Top Rank when they are even willing to put their jobs on Andre Berto who does not have a drawing power; to Sergio Martinez who does not have any opponent yet as of the time they were on negotiation.

If tyson and Holyfield can burn through 300 mill each, Floyd most definitely can.. And he hasnt evem earned that much yet.

He also wont retire undefeated because money will keep him fighting past his best.
thats a pretty good point Floyd seems like a chronic spender

I will not say that Pac is boxing but to support Floyd instead of Manny is insane.
