i agree that it's good that byrd's at least fighting but it's not toney byrd needs...unless toney has a title by the time they would fight...byrd needs a rematch with vitali...and we need to see this fight so a clear champ can be recognized either way...vitali's ducking and so is king

Vitali will beat Byrds ass, badly. King needs to get Byrd a good competative fight. That way Byrd can unify the titles and get his due, or get his ass kicked and go fight on hbo from time to time without PPV.

don king has said on showtime that he plans to put Byrd on james toney's undercard...in reno of all places...and toney is not fighting for a title (he's scheduled to fight guinn) how can king possibly justify putting the ibf heavyweight champ of the world on an undercard to a barely-was-a-champ fighter? and don't even get me started on the Byrd can't raise tickets sales bs...the arenas at his fights haven't exactly been empty in the past

MAYBE, just maybe, if byrd wasnt fighting a bum, he would be headlining an event, but hes not, and toney is a draw, so byrd should stop crying or shut it

Personally I would have liked to see Bryd vs Toney and it may have well happened if Toney did not have that little Steriod issue,other than that I really don't care about who fights first and last and so on.

Toney is WAY BETTER than Byrd. Byrd in the undercard for Toney sounds right to me.
