first off , floyd sucks ****, secondly , floyd is gay and lastly,,i agree...can't wait for HBO's card of Andy Lee vs Greg McEwan and Berto vs the next stiff
why dont you wait til the coming year to really see what HBO has else to offer
and as for Arum moving over to Showtime, anyone who doesn't see that THIS move FORCES HBO to put on better cards IS the REAL idiot...it's good for boxing
only blinded Floyd nuthuggers would find a reason to criticize ANY Arum move
a report could come out saying Arum had a pastrami sandwich for lunch and one of your idiots would talk crap about pastrami sandwiches
and really, for a bunch of clowns that vowed to not even watch Mosely-PAC or any Top Rank card, why does it matter to you guys anyway?
green k for you speaking the truth and telling the truth and saying the truth with negativity about mayweather ***** ass, lol, nyahahahahaha
mayweather retired from boxing so he can beat on women, lol true story, lol, nyahahahahaComment

You guys *****ed and moan on here because HBO wasn't making the best possible fights and they were spending too much money on certain fighters like Williams and Berto.
Now that HBO is trying to put together the best possible fights, no more bs fights, and trying to spend their more wisely, a lot of you guys have been dissing HBO.
Sorry, but Arum going to Showtime is a big downgrade from HBO. Showtime doesn't have the boxing budget that HBO has and they don't have 29M subscribers in 150+ countries, etc. Anyone who thinks Arum going to Showtime is a great move is an idiot.
Answer this question for me... Who was the person who didn't want Cotto to fight Martinez? Blame Arum for all of this because Martinez and Cotto wanted to fight each other this year. HBO would've loved to have the fight in March.
Stop your *****ing and stop blaming HBO because it was Arum who didn't want Cotto to fight Martinez.
A week after talks opened to match middleweight champion Sergio Martinez with junior middleweight titleholder Miguel Cotto, they came to an abrupt end Tuesday night.
So pretty much, Arum's offer would have given Sergio Martinez the biggest payday of his career. Since Arum's figher is the ticket seller/attraction and Dibella's is neither, I can fully understand Arum balking at Lou's counter proposal. If you ask me, Dibella is just as much to blame for Martinez-Cotto not materializing than Arum is."The Martinez-Cotto discussions are dead because Bob doesn't want to do any kind of co-promotion no matter what the split," DiBella said.
DiBella said Arum offered him $2.5 million against an upside of the potential pay-per-view profits. DiBella declined and said he countered by offering to buy out Arum for $5 million against an upside of pay-per-view profits.
"Bob said no, so pretty much that's the end of the discussion. There's nothing more to discuss," DiBella said.Comment

Arum moved to showtime because HBO wanted better fights.i agree...can't wait for HBO's card of Andy Lee vs Greg McEwan and Berto vs the next stiff

Arum going to showtime makes the better fights harder to make.

I don't really care which network gets to air the fights, but from a financial stand point, it's better to show pac and cotto vs mismatches than williams and berto vs mismatches cause pac and cotto have huge fan bases and produce great ratings. pwill and berto have no fan bases and can't produce ratings like pac and cotto.
from a business standpoint, HBO are dunces for overpaying williams and berto and coming down on cotto and pac with a heavy hand.
berto vs ortiz isn't the best possible fight. neither is khan vs TBA.Now that HBO is trying to put together the best possible fights, no more bs fights, and trying to spend their more wisely, a lot of you guys have been dissing HBO.
don't be dumb. if CBS/SHOWTIME does a fight camp 360 for pac and air it on CBS, pac/mosley is gonna do ****** numbers. Just imagine if Arum gives CBS the rights to show their broadcast of pac fights against dlh, cotto, and hatton. damn... that would break the bank and give boxing a huge boost.Sorry, but Arum going to Showtime is a big downgrade from HBO. Showtime doesn't have the boxing budget that HBO has and they don't have 29M subscribers in 150+ countries, etc. Anyone who thinks Arum going to Showtime is a great move is an idiot.
Arum didn't want cotto/martinez, but cotto imho deserves a few tune ups with steward to get used to steward.Answer this question for me... Who was the person who didn't want Cotto to fight Martinez? Blame Arum for all of this because Martinez and Cotto wanted to fight each other this year. HBO would've loved to have the fight in March.
I don't really care where cotto fights whether HBO or Showtime or on Top Rank PPVs, but nah, HBO is pretty dumb for letting cotto (who has a substantial fanbase) to jump ship.Stop your *****ing and stop blaming HBO because it was Arum who didn't want Cotto to fight Martinez.Comment

better fights? you mean like putting Zab Judah back on the air after one win on ESPN?
or were you talking about the next time they put Robert Guerrero on? or maybe the next time Juan Diaz fights again? or maybe another featured bout involving Rocky Juarez?Comment
