Best boxing cities/towns in the world

When you think of the best boxing towns, what comes to find for you?

In America, Vegas and New York City are the obvious ones.

Where else in America? How about in the world?

Detoit used to be. Judging by the turn out for Dirrell vs. Abraham, that may not be the case anymore.

Detroit was a great city for boxing through the years. Joe Louis, Henry Hank, all of the great Kronk fighters....... It was an exciting thing growing up fighting in Detroit. So many good fighters. But now they have closed most of the rec centers in the city where the kids used to box.

They would have done alot better in attendance if they had the fight in Flint. Dirrell just isn't known through the city of Detroit except for the hard core fans........Rockin'

Detroit would be a good boxing city had the sport not **** on the city. By giving all the good fights to Vegas you killed any major popularity in other cities. It's time boxing starts putting major fights in other cities because Vegas killed the sport in most cities. Now that Vegas isn't doing great with boxing it is time to leave that city.

                    Not really..

Chicago still clings on to the 85 Bears and Michael Jordan, which I'm VERY PROUD of myself, but being a much bigger boxing fan over Basketball and Football, I wish we had a bigger Boxing fan base..

It also doesn't help that we haven't had a great champion come out of Chicago, best we got as of late is David Diaz,
