sounds like a good bloke,to keep some kids on the straight and narrow and respect people, not b/s them, help them with thier lives if they want the help.

makes a good point about making a champion, taking him from nothing, all the way to the top.

i do respect trainers like roach being able to improve fighters whether good or not already and make them world class elite fighters, and have a gym that has such a good work ethic.

and im sure freddie has taken a couple of boxers early on and trained them to their first titles.

i do think however some do train to many boxers, just stick to the ones who work best, and let another trainer mainly train the rest, with occasional output and guidance from the top trainer.

Nooo....Not quite sure I believe this. Cory was partying a little more than he was training. You could see it by his performance in his fights. If a guy like Freddie Roach can have all those guys in his stable then I'm pretty sure able-bodied Kevin Cunningham can have 2 fighters happy no problem

Shut the F... U. Im from the Lou also. I say also because your post reeks with the stinch of STL Hater-ides. Cunningham did everything possible to help Spinks and then never threw him under the bus when Spinks shot himself in the foot time after time. Devon's rise had nuthing to do with the split. Spink's trainer/manager/stripper/wife is who you should be spitting venom at.

A story like this should have all good comments!

In a way it's good, but at the same time it's not, cause at a certain moment it's a shame & doesn't help the sport that the wrong people are the 1's making the real $$$$$ & getting ALL the attention.... For example, a glorified sparring session like Cotto vs Mayorga so called fight is on PPV & they are going to make millions or hype jobs like J.C Chavez jr & Canelo are also getting a S H I T LOAD OF ATTENTION & the PPV's & the $$$$ facing TOMATO CANS & HAS BEEN'S while REAL UNDEFEATED HIGH QUALITY WORLD CHAMPIONS like Alexander & Bradley are facing each other & even thou they deserve to make the big $$$ & the attention, they are NOT getting it!!! In the beginning of My comment I said "In a way it's good" cause I know this fight is WAY better match up than Cotto vs Mayorga & any of the J.C jrs & Canelo's or Holyfield fight's, but yet it's on regular HBO & NOT PPV!! So fans DON'T have to pay the extra $$$$ to watch a REAL fight!!
