Man Corley is a warrior he's willing to fight dangerous opponents for a paycheck.

He has to take care of 6 of his kids plus an addtional 6 children he adopted from his dead brother.

I wish he can score a big payday.

I think his biggest pay days are in the past.

Fighting prime Judah, Mayweather, and Cotto is probably the closest he'll ever get to big fights. Unfortunately.

And sadly, in general he pretty much fought for peanuts in those fights.

It's crazy how the fighters I mentioned fought him in order, Judah fought a 1-loss Corley, Mayweather fought a 2-loss Corley, and Cotto fought a 3-loss Corley. Then you see Corley now with 16 losses. Amazing.

He should be unbeaten right now with Judah and Corley the biggest names on his resume. He's a pretty good fighter. I like the fact that he really goes for the body (many fighters don't). Someone like Peterson would be a good fight for him before taking on one of the champions.

but he's been stopped thrice now. he's the definition of a journeyman. he wasn't even ranked in the top 50 last time i checked.
he has double digit losses
he was knocked out by freddy hernandez (who is probably still getting headaches from andre bertos shot)

I've been saying the kid is good,I saw the skill against Judah.I honestly believe he'll be better than Maidana,he has better skill,he's faster,he has good defense & he has the same power.

Good win for Lucas against an old beat down gatekeeper. Keep it in perspective though, winning against Mayweather, Khan and Maidana at this stage would be extremely difficult. Did anyone watch the first 8+ rounds of the Judah fight where he was inactive? Stay sharp and build some momentum and Lucas will be a force down the road!
