Maidana vs. Rios @ 140?

I give it to Maidana...for now but with a couple more legit Wins under Brandons belt, this fight would be a war.

This is a tough one to call. I guess I'll give Maidana the edge here, but boy would I love to see this match-up.

Right now, Maidana kills Rios. Maidana would kill most fighters in his weight range in brawl, and this would be a brawl.

maidana is too big and too strong

wouldnt be suprised to see rios on his toes for the first time trying to avoid punishment and picking his shots

rios cant fight backwards

Maidana is a true 140lbs that could easily move up to 147lbs and still be strong and powerful. Rios on the other hand can easily fight at 140lbs but his conditioning ain't really top notch. I love both fighters, both ****ers and come forward fighters that look for a KO. I would have to give Maidana the edge for this fight though, as much as I like Rios and want him to be succeed.

Maidana has heart & loads of power.I don't know if Rios packs that kind of pop,but if he does,they're fighting on even terms.
