Even though Leonard Lane is coming off a lost to another fellow prospect in Mike Dallas Jr. This is still a good match up.

And, even though the year is just starting off. I don't remember another year in recent times where so many prospects are fighting each other.

    There is

    Coleman-Parris
    Vargas-Lane
    Despaigne-Syllakh
    Garcia-Remillard
    Diaz-Kennedy
    Avalos-Bathelemy

    Amongst others.

All on the first quarter of the year. I'm glad these prospects are stepping up and fighting other prospects.

And, you still have a potential Degale-Groves.

EDIT: I guess Coleman suffered a shoulder injury and will not fight Parris

On the undercard of this fight. They should have Frankie Gomez fight Yoelvis Gamboa.

Very impressive for Fight Night Club. I'm pulling for Vargas.

Another solid fight between solid young fighters is Solomon vs. D. Hopkins (although D-Hop is probably past the prospect stage). Solomon is one of the best prospects in boxing and people don't talk about him.

Eloy Perez vs. Luis Cruz figures to be a good matchup of prospects too.

These are just great matchups that usually turnout to be great fights. Young fighters that don't want to get knocked off. Boxing would be in an even better place if promoters made Rios-Peterson type fights consistently.
