I mean if he would fight Saul Alvarez, Cotto, Margarito, or Pacquiao. I would pay to watch it because I root for the other fighter. Would the fight be entertaining? No because floyd = boring

The problem with floyd is he never goes for the ko even when he's got the guy totally out matched and it's late in the fight. I got no problem with a defensive fighter, but floyd is SO defensive it puts 90 percent of fans to sleep. He never try's to finish a guy cause he's so worried about getting tapped. It always ends up like watching a 3-6 football game. I know defense wins championships but at some point u put people to sleep. He doesn't need to brawl, but he also doesn't need to be so cautious that he has people feeling like they just got smacked over the head and had 60 bucks stolen from their wallet.

theres more to boxing than the wars and great exchanges. thats jsut one aspect of boxing. just like any sport. you got ball teams that play the slow half court and you got run and gun teams. you got the defenseive football teams and the flashy ones. mayweather isnt a brawler. and you dont find him exciting why do you make a whole thread about him why is he on your mind. i think john ruiz is boring you know what i do? dont watch him fight.

again, UFC kills boxing in terms of live gate... why?... more people want some action for their money... but again, its up to you which fight(s) to watch...

i dunno why ppl think hes boring. i dont, but then again i see the things he does and im amazed. i guess other ppl think its runnning, not entertaining, etc. i personally dont like slugfests when both guys are just swinging wildly at each other with not skill a la gatti/ward. its not beautiful enuff for me. pac to me is the perfect embodiment of a fighter who can slug it out and still look good doing it. anyways, to each his own.

there arent many fighters like floyd in todays boxing game. so to me its a treat to see a fighter who follows in the veins of pep/whitaker etc. in todays modern game.
