Comments Thread For: Adrien Broner Vows: "I'll Crush Jason Litzau Early"

Super featherweight contender Adrien Broner (19-0, 16 KOs) told BoxingScene.com that he's ready to face either Jason Litzau (28-2, 21 KOs), or Daniel Ponce De Leon (41-2, 34 KOs) on March 5 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Golden Boy Promotions is attempting to match one of the two boxers against Broner in the HBO televised co-feature to Saul Alvarez-Matthew Hatton.

Broner is a good talent with big pop but i dont think hes ready for either Litzau is awkard and Ponce De Leon may be slow but hes relentness and has a big shot and against someone with a chin as unproven as Broner it could be good night if Ponce connects and Ponce beaten alot more proven fighters then Broner and is only losses are to Caballero and Juanma.Id give him a better chance against Litzau because even though Jason is good i feel Caba just underestimaed him so much and when you go in with that mentality its hard to switch your "A" game back on i think Caba would handle him again

Broner would crush Litzau, he's right. He could arguably be the number 1 super featherweight in the world. IMO, he is the best American prospect.

He isnt going to beat Litzau. That moron is still fighting nobodys at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds. With like 20 people there and half are his family. That place is a joke they dont even have the ring level half the time. Smells like the farm shows that get more people then his fights do.

imo good chance litzau goes down in flames against ponce. probably spectacularly. hopefully.

Broner talks a good game for not having been tested yet.

Yeah, I agree. I was trying to figure out who he beat to be talking like this.

I am all for self-confidence but beat someone worth a ***** then shoot your mouth off, not before.

Ive seen him fight once, he looks pretty good but like others have said, he reall hasn't been tested, I think ponce de leon would be too much pressure for him at this stage in his career tho
