When he was at 140 he went to the Gatti-Mayweather fight and saw what he did, he was supposed to fight him next while both were still Top Rank fighters and Miguel's father(RIP) said he wasn't ready. DLH actually threw more jabs in the 2nd half of their fight. floyd adjusted and you know what happened after that

What happened was he won a split decision draw by 1 point, by no means a dominant performance! so if DLH doesnt gas down the strech and was a little more agressive, u dont think he could have won? im asking cuz thats all im saying

at least he had the HEART to get in the ring and take those Losses. No where on no forum will you ever see anyone take shots at Oscar's resume! his strength of opposition speaks for itself! Floyd get that same respect?

Oscars resume is nice..yes..he fought a bunch of TOP guys but he didnt beat them...so who gives a ****....he LOST ALL of his big fights......where was this heart when he DIDNT want a TITO rematch?

If Cotto walks fast Mayorga with a KO and wins even a UD against Margarito, I dont see floyd coming out of vacation to fight him... I however, believe Floyd can and will outbox Cotto anyday.

Margarito is another story altogether. His style is bad news for floyd. Floyd will never call out Margarito. Unlike Mosley who surprisingly stopped throwing after his 2nd round fight with floyd, Margarito keeps the pressure against opponents with heavy punches. I haven't seen Margarito gets frustrated because he can't find his opponent or is getting hit constantly. The Pac fight showed Margarito will not backdown even with bombs landing in his face.

If they fight, floyd will most probably pot shot at Margarito. He will definitely land his big punches with regularity but it won't bring down Margarito. On the other hand, Margarito will be throwing his own bombs and some will land, believe it. When they land, I see him increasing the constant pressure. He will corner floyd at some point and will be punishing him during those brief moments. Margarito's style even at his present state is bad news for floyd.

Floyd might win this one but at great cost to him.

IMO tony is just too dam slow to pull off this strategy. his foot work is crap and he is not the hardest puncher floyd has faced. add his lack of defense its a long night of getting beat on and punching after shadows. but this fight will not happen because cotto is under the top rank umbrella. as long as he fights for uncle bob he wont get a floyd fight.

he gassed? please show me the post interview where Oscar says he got tired...he NEVER EVER SAYS that.

More aggressive? Well he did throw more punches and jabs in the 2nd half of the fight buut he couldnt land any punches....

look at the punch stats man...Oscar didnt land many clean punches at all and was hitting all arms and gloves...

this fight was NOT a split decision...shoulda been 8-4

that SD was ridiculous because that fight wasn't so close. there's no way DLH should've won on ANY card

btw, i never said anything about dominance. it just wasn't so close, nowhere near a draw or SD. that was just an excuse to have a marketable rematch

still, my point was that DLH jabbed more in the 2nd half and didn't achieved anything with that. he also threw more punches in the 2nd half, so why are you saying that he gassed out if his output increased?

its no dishonor at all..but give the guys who WIN credit...stop with all this "he has heart ****"......every fighter has HEART, you gotta have heart to get in a ring..so just cause a guy gets his ass whooped by better fighters doesnt make his heart bigger than anyone else.
