One of the excussses for Floyd to not figght Cotto was because Cotto lives in PR. Floyd said that himself

Cotto vs Mayweather is a mismatch IMO. Mayweather is too slick, fast, and smart for Cotto to be competitive. I'd imagine it'd be a lopsided UD for Mayweather with Cotto having some fan pleasing flurries but that's about it.

Floyd carves Cotto up within 6 rounds. LMAO @ a much smaller man (JMM) being more competitive against Pac and Floyd than Cotto.

Pac-JMM was at FW/SFW and Cotto-Pac at WW.

Cotto hasnt Fought Floyd so how iss that JMM did better there
