I wish Wlad or Vitali would have fought Holyfield around 01-04. Thats too bad those fights never happend.

Let's look at some of Holyfield's losses and close fights:

      - schooled by Chris Byrd, who was destroyed twice by Wlad.

      - dominated by Larry Donald, who was knocked down 4 times and KTFO by Vitali (was the only man to knockdown and KO Donald).

      - stopped by James Toney, who was dominated by Peter, who was destroyed by both Klitschkos.

      - dominated by Sultan Ibragimov, who was dominated by Wlad.

      - beaten twice by overrated one hit wonder Rid**** Bowe, who was exposed and destroyed twice by Golota, who was KTFO by Lennox Lewis, who was dominated and retired by Vitali.

      - beaten twice by Lennox Lewis, who was dominated and retired by Vitali.

      - struggled and barely beat Ray Mercer, who was annihilated by Wlad (was the first man to knockdown and KO Mercer).

      - struggled and barely beat Vaughn Bean, who was destroyed by Vitali (was the only man to KO Bean).

You do realize he beat them both right?

His losses to Valuev, Ibragimov, Byrd, Ruiz, Donald, Toney, they must all count. His saving grace still is that 5 of the 6 were world champs at some point and 4 out of 6 were much younger than him, but still. He just can't hang with the younger top-10 fighters anymore, he needs to realize that.

His resume now is worse than the Klitschkos at this point, because a loss is not supposed to add to your resume, it detracts from it. Just because Holyfield has lost to mostly champs, doesn't diminish the fact that he has 10 losses. Holyfield still should get into IBHOF on the first ballot, he is just not top 10.
The Losses after the Lewis fights doesn't take anything away from his legacy because he was way past his prime when he lost to Ibragimov, Donald, Toney, Byrd etc etc, only idiots believe otherwise. And I don't care what the judges said, he did beat Valuev.

Does losing to Danny Green take anything away from RJJ's legacy? Offcourse Not because RJJ was shot and 40 years old.

Does losing to Trevor Berbick take anything away from Muhammad Ali's legacy? Hell NO because Ali was beyond shot, 40 years old and suffering from the early stages of parkinson.

I could go on and on... Losses doesn't take ANYTHING away from a fighters legacy if it happens when the fighter is old and way past it.

              Holyfield has beaten:

              Tyson(twice)
              Rid**** Bowe
Ray Mercer(a prime one, not a shot one like Wlad beat)
              Michael Moorer
              George Foreman
              Larry Holmes
              John Ruiz
and at cruiser he beat Dwight Muhammed Qawi(twice) and Carlos De Leon(4 time WBC cruiserweight champion)

              Holyfield's resume >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Wlads

Wlad doesn't come CLOSE to Holyfield legacy wise or resume wise.
Shot Tyson was KOed by Danny Williams
close decision win over Mercer, who Wlad STOPPED
the mediocre Moorer actually beat Holyfield
Foreman was OLD and was beaten by Axel Shultz (who was robbed)
              Holmes was an OLD MAN
Ruiz would have been easily KOed by either Klitschko, was beaten by Chagaev
and cruiserweights don't count, this is about heavyweights

It's so obvious Megamerican is a racist supremacist who hates Wlad.

I'll remeber you said that if we ever talk about Wlad's or Vitaly's legacy.

The totality of the resume must be taken into account, not just the parts you feel put the boxer in the best light. He has less title defenses than Wlad, less fights, he only reigned at CW, he held titles at HW but he was never the top dog for as long as Wlad is now.

Vitaly, yes, he has better resume than Vitaly, I will concede that.

Holyfield was way past it when he lost to Byrd, Donald, Ibragimov, Ruiz, and he was way way way past it when he beat Valuev(it's not holyfields fault the judges in euro land are disgracefully corrupt).

And Lewis himself was at his career high weight and past it when he still beat Vitali and damn near tore his eye out with his punches and made him look like a pizza face(the word you klit-ites just looove to use it seems) lol.

                      Yes.

Wlad called Holyfield out after several fights in 2000 and 2001, but Evander ducked him.
