His managerial advisor and father-in-law, Francie McNicholl and Matchroom Promotions are still talking to Khan and Golden Boy Promotions. The two sides are far apart on the money, said Matchroom Promotions head Barry Hearn. He called Khan's offer "a joke."

Listen to this nobody critiquing Khan like he's on the same level. There is no chance in Hell that McCloskey could rock Khan like Maidana did, so his criticism of Maidana for not finishing the job is ridiculous. Even more ridiculous however is his criticism of Khan's power, considering that McCloskey only has 12 KOs in 22 fights against European-level opposition at best. McCloskey also seems unaware that bodyshot knockdowns show power better than headshot knockdowns.

McCloskey is talking way above his current station here. But he does look to be a quality fighter but that doesn't mean anything if you have someone like Maidana who can punch holes in walls.
