Unfortunately our legal system is more complicated than that. I don't know if hes guilty or not but based on the $1000 fine and 50hrs community service it seems the the prosecutors were not sure that they could convince anyone he was guilty.

Roger Mayweather " if it makes money it makes sense." A trial is way more expensive and taxing than a plea bargain. So, Roger, staying true to his business philsophy, opted for the plea bargain.

sorry mate but the 'justice' you're looking for is already served. He pleaded no-contest and let's leave it at that. Think about one country raping another country's natural resources/murdering its people by the thousands on the pretense of WMD, and you will see how inconsequential this case is, and the court people know that, hence the deal.

u do realize that turdsandwich going to jail himself is probably an even bigger problem for him?

This is good news for boxingfans. One obstacle away for the vacationer vs pacman to happen.

If you didn't do it, you would have no reason to strike a deal!!!!! Damn some of you can't be this naive!!!!! I guess his previous domestic abuse cases were just coincidences as well.

I knew he was guilty. If he was just a guy off the street he would've been locked up right now.

ofc he is guilty. but this statement don't mean ****.

"no contest means the person does not refute the charges, but also does not claim guilt for the charges"

i got popped for street racing. when i wasnt. the cop even had me on camera but didnt want to present the footage in court b.c i wasnt racing. my laywer asked for him to present the footage b.c it would have clearly shown the cop was lying. we even provided pics of the street we were on, marked each tenth of a mile from where we made our Uturn and the cop began to follow us, to the gas station we stopped at to talk when the cop rolled up on us claiming we were racing. he didnt even pull us over nor arrest us.

anyways. the SA told the judge that they discussed dropping the charges with my lawyer b.c they didnt believe the cops story that we were racing but the judge wouldnt allow them to. i live in one of the most money hungry counties b.c we were hit hard by the recession. they pull people over for bs out here.

so she(the judge) wasnt going to let them drop the charges b/c the county needed money so they had to charge me with something in order to get it.

but guess what. no matter how i was innocent i was, the evidence(pics) we provided which totally lined up with our story and showed how bs the story was the cop claimed, she didnt care. it was either strike a deal or take the risk getting a worse charge with some serious penalties like losing my license for a year.

so the "deal" i had to take was 6months probation, a written paper, and fines.

innocent people do end up in court and HAVE to take plea deals b.c some judges liek to be douches

you have alot to learn aboout our court system. so zip it

                    dumb hatin ass *******s
