Running, engaging, not engaging, face first brawler...etc who cares? they got in the ring and lace a glove, the best we can do is call them names.

i thought footwork throws off an opponents gameplan and i thought not getting hit was smart, or at least thats what i learned when i boxed? why isnt ray leonard called a runner check out his first fight with hearns and his hagler fight is that also running?

It is still a terrible opinion, no offense.

Even if you are constantly moving away you still throw, Spinks in the Taylor fight always wanted to be out of range of Taylor making him throw first then engage or throwing out a jab to maintain space. Always wanting to be on the outside of a guys range can be called running still is a form of boxing though~

Completely different, come better than that.

Mixing up what you do doesn't equal running~ even if it involves moving away in spots.

                  Bro, who cares?...

If people thinks he runs, so what? Being a boxer or not, doesn't mean you can't have an opinion...

I'm sure plenty of people on this site that know their ****, have never boxed.

Also: Before you say something crazy, I don't call it running.

                      And his rematch with Duran.

Anyway, running to me is Cotto vs Pacquiao from round 6-7 all the way to the 12th. Pascal trying to survive against Hopkins. Quintana vs Williams II when Williams hurt Quintana.

Active Boxers who are labeled as runners, but are actually just boxing effectively: Mayweather and Calderon. Although Calderon did do a bit of running vs Segura.
