Is Guillermo Jones a potential contender for the HW title?

    ...

GJ can easily be a contender at HW:

    1. He has the boxing skill of a welterweight.

    2. He is a good puncher.

    3. He is of a good height for a HW.

    4. He has a big frame to put on additional muscular weight.

GJ completeley dominated Brathwaite who is a former cruiser champ. I think GJ can easily hold one of the belts in HWs.
He'd probably easily beat Ruiz and Byrd.

    what do you think?

The heavyweight division isn't that bad for someone like Jones to win a title.

you could say that a lot of boxers would easily beat byrd or ruiz.... name any 1 of 10-15 heavyweights and several lightheavies

no one gives byrd any credit. he gets thru guys twice his size by boxing. theres talk about guys back in the days where they beat guys twice their size but they r considered greats probably because they slugged it out more than fighters do now but thats all they knew how to do. no way would jones beat byrd. hes too smart for him.

...and Jones is not smart? I thought he exhibited very good skills...akin to those of Byrd.

he has the physical attributes needed to win not only using his brains... of course its easier for him.
