No event has ever been this stacked before.

All 4 fights were rematches between....
Julio César Chávez vs. Frankie Randall
Azumah Nelson vs. Jesse James Leija
    Gerald McClellan vs. Julian Jackson
    Terry Norris vs. Simon Brown

Throw in a Ricardo Lopez vs Kermin Guardia title fight for good measure. And, also Meldrick Taylor was on the none televised portion of the card.

You just don't get cards like these anymore.

    I miss Don King sometimes.

      Yea I was,

My family were big JCC fans. I still remember the first JCC-Randall fight and looking at my moms face when JCC got dropped.

Plus my uncles also liked Terry Norris so when that card was on the family was pretty hyped.

The only reason I started really following boxing was because a year earlier my uncles took me to a boxing card that had their Norris and Camacho on the card. 2 fighters they really liked. I remember I really didn't want to go but they took me anyways. And, on that card was the first time I noticed Trinidad. His fight against Maurice Blocker where he won the IBF title. After Tito KO'd Blocker in 2, I asked my uncles who was the guy. They didn't know they just said some Puerto Rican. They didn't care they just wanted to see Camacho and Norris. So I got the program we had looked up and it was Tito name Trinidad. And, ever since then I told my uncles that was my favorite fighter. I followed him ever since.

      I never forget that night.
