Only Pac comes to mind, but im pretty sure there are other great champions that never avenged there losses, im not saying he shouldnt, all im saying is alot of people always want to see him with a puncher, first it was "Khans finished, he will never come back from a defeat like that" then when he became champ it was "rematch Prescott", then it was "oh hes avoiding Maidana because hes a puncher", then when he gets through Maidana its "oh he needs to rematch Maidana, he almost Knocked him out" and now its come back around to "he NEEDS to rematch Prescott".....
YES Khan does not have the best chin in boxing, i think we know that, but he has speed, skill and personality and looks (no ****) and is good for the sport, fighting punchers is not always going to bring the best out of him, and as a fan i want to see him in fights that are going to bring out the best of him.
I think the guy deserves credit for trying to unify the titles and having dreams and aspirations, (Prescott is not exactly someone you dream or aspire to fighting), Leaving Frank Warren because he wanted to chase bigger fightsand go to America.
*Name some other great fighters/Champions that never avenged there losses
