I think he did **** himself up a little enough so that it would effect his performance in the fight, and didnt want to risk a loss because of it. He could continue, but he did hurt himself a little.

And if kermit was so scared of this pressure because he knew it was coming, WHY DID HE SIGN THE FIGHT?! Why did he rematch Margarito who was the king of pressure?? Kermit wasn't afraid of paul williams man, or else he wouldn't have taken the fight. He didn't need to sign the fight there was no demand for it or whatever it was totally his choice.
