Probably not, Cotto is very professional, and everyone in boxing knows Mayorga is a huge trash talker.
As professional as cotto may be, he already has fallen into mayorga's trap in trading insults and the pushing game....
Mayorga knows he's getting under his skin and he won't stop until fight night.
Also, we must take into consideration that even though Cotto is a better technician than Mayorga, he was roughed up by marg/pac and was stunned by a none-heavy puncher in yuri foreman.
I was stunned to see Miguel Cotto’s legs turn into wet noodles after Yuri Foreman blasted Cotto with two huge right hands in the 3rd round of their fight. Cotto’s reaction to those shots were worrisome to say the least.
I want cotto to win against mayorga but im not entirely sold that cotto is capable of taking hard shots just because he beat a one legged yuri foreman and he's letting this bigmouth get to him.
I hope this doesn't turn into another Mayorga vs Vargas!
