Comments Thread For: Kevin Johnson To Face Long, Travis Kauffman Withdraws

CHARLOTTE, NC – Former world heavyweight title challenger Kevin “Kingpin” Johnson has replaced an ill Travis Kauffman against dangerous Julius “Towering Inferno” Long (15-14, 13 KOs) in an 8-round bout on Saturday night’s “Redemption In America: The Journey Begins Now” Pay-Per-View event, headlined by living legend, Evander “The Real Deal” Holyfield (43-10-2, 28 KOs) defending his World Boxing Federation heavyweight title against challenger Sherman “Tank” Williams (34-11-2, 19 KOs), live from America’s resort -- The Greenbrier’s Colonial Hall -- in White Sulphur Springs, West ******ia.

This makes it a slightly better PPV.

Travis Kauffman is a tomato can, Kevin Johnson at least has talent.

But all the fights are mismatches.

kevin johnson is a disgrace not a fighter but a bucket of manure. His embarrassment against Klitschko should have had him banned from boxing. No wonder the garbage guy johnson is fighting an 8 rounder. Johnson is puke.

Kitten Pawing a guy for 11 rounds, then pointing at your chin for the last one is talent?
That guy dedicated that fight to his daughter.
If that's how he fights when he dedicates a fight to his daughter, I don't wanna see run in the mill for him.

If Johnson wasn't a statue in his last "fight" and he was facing someone of substance maybe I'd order it...

If i remember correctly julius long is seven feet tall and has 90 inches of reach

he somehow manages to fight short... ?

kevin johnson's fight with vitali was a shame to prizefighting

this card is probably the best ever in the history of PPV"peeleft:

i wont even be checking the boxrec for the results from this one
if they make their way under my nose i'll likely go out of my way to avoid reading/acknowledging them

god willing, evander holyfield will be ok, get paid a nice stack
sign a boatload of autographs and pose for pictures and mingle with his fans (gracious fans they are to give him their patronage at this stage)
