I'd order Tarver-Jones III before I watched the Showtime one.

Also, he looks like Val Kilmer from that angle in your avatar.

[QUOTE=boxingguy1226]Since the Byrd/Williamson fight is now added to the Toney/Guinn card which card will you guys watch? Considering the showtime card is free to watch it might be a tough choice. Two interesting heavyweight fights for their own reasons or the RJJ/Tarver trilogy?[/QUOTE

I will be watching jones beat tarvers ass and come back with a vengeance lol same name as last years ppv with tito-mayorga on oct.2. anyway i will be taping toney-guinn in the other room and will look forward to seeing it after jones-tarver card is over. it still pisses me off that they wont save one of these cards for oct.22 or 29 when theyre is no boxing on at all. i dont get why they want to compete.

I'm still learning toward Tarver-Jones III, but Byrd-Williamson makes it a much more difficult choice. I hope that HBO can get at least ONE entertaining undercard fight for the Tampa card, but time is fast running out.

The Showtime card if nothing else is a solid, solid 3-fight "free" card. October and November are shaping up to be two great, great months of fisticuffs.

I hope Hopkins-Taylor II can get finalized for Dec. 3 and we can get a couple more good cards in that month to close out this great year with a ****.

We're boxing fans. Why wouldn't we order one and tape the other and watch it immediately afterwards? That's what I'm doing...

I can't wait to see if this mabuza guy tests marquez, but other than that i'd much rather see light heavys than heavys. Of course since showtime is free im gonna watch that for sure.

thank you perfectly said. like anyone thats a true boxing fan would say im watching this one not the other.

of course im watching jones live and taping the other at the same time. as soon as jones gets done beating tarver and the card is off the air i will go get the tape and watch the showtime card.

Basically the question is which one would you rather see LIVE. I'm sure all boxing fans will see both at one point or another...

I think Jones v. Tarver has more historical significance and is a true grudge match so I'd rather see it live.
