i never said ost gives anyone an advantage, you're missing the whole point. catchweight demands are mutually exclusive of the ost demands. they have nothing to do with with each other, especially because he didn't ask floyd for a catchweight. lol, you're so ***n dumb.

catchweights have been around forever. when you are negotiating the biggest fight in a decade, asking for something that he's never asked before, a move that would OBVIOUSLY halt negotiation- it a ploy to get out of the deal. i doubt you've ever negotiated anything more than a vial of floyd's sweat with yessir or one of the other ******s roaming around on this site.
pac and floyd had near equal power in the negotiation, margs had no leverage with pac, he needed the fight, therefore he bent to pac's demands. regardless of whether it was right or not, it's a normal practice in professional boxing (i think catchweights suck).

What this OP is getting at is the criticism of Pacs opponents has got to stop. He is a fighter who is fighting other highly trained other pro fighters with names and good resumes.

He is fighting, Floyd isnt fighting. So dont whine at the guy who fights. We dont whine at Floyds earlier opponents like Baldomir, Zab Zudah even though it would be easy to do, because lets face it, is zab judah or baldmomir as good as any version of Cotto or Margarito? Is Castillo as good as any version of Cotto or Margarito?

We may criticise Floyd for the manner in which he pitter patters them and beats them but not at his actual choice of opponents mostly. *****s cant criticize the way Pac beats his opponents because Pac wipes them out, so they actually criticize Pacs opponents. That is the only target they have.

At the end of the day it is 100 times easier to criticise floyd if that is what one wanted to do.
