  • Comments Thread For: Jorge Diaz-Teon Kennedy Clash is Set For March 26

Jorge Diaz (15-0, 9 KOs), a New Brunswick native who trains at the Joe Grier Boxing Academy in Paterson, and Philadelphia’s Teon Kennedy (16-0-1, 7 KOs) will square off March 26 in Atlantic City in a 12-round fight for Kennedy’s USBA 122-pound title. The battle between unbeaten prospects won’t be televised by HBO that night, but Diaz realizes that Kennedy stands between him and a world title shot.

This is the type of fight HBO should be opening up their telecasts with. Good things happen when good undefeated prospects face off. And it doesn't cost more than 100K to televise it either. Just terrible how HBO has the keys in their hands, yet have no idea on which doors to open.

My boy Diaz will put a whooping on Kennedy. Diaz is too strong and agresive for Kennedy who punches like Malignaggi and doesnt deal well with pressure. Both guys defense suck by the way
