i would say whoever wins the fight has a shout to call themself the best at 140 but Khan will probably have something to say and until Khan and the winner of timmy & devon fight then no one is the undisputed champ in my eyes.

i have bradley as number 1, khan as number 2, alexander as number 3 and maidana in 4th spot.

if bradley wins he can say he is the best, but he will still need to fight Khan in my eyes to be fully deserving of the best 140 fighter .

      Probably:
      Alexander
      Bradley
      Khan

Would partially depend on the severity of the loss in determining if he should drop below Khan. But in a fight that's say, 116-112ish, that would be my list.

see thats the problem in boxing. Writers like this guy and other people like him shouldn't be making judgements about who will be the best if this or that happens, but instead encourage these fighters to fight eachother until everyones fought n then see who the best is.

So is your argument that #1 slot in the 140 lb ranking should be "vacant?" Or that there is no true champion yet at 140 until the winner faces Khan?

I'll await your response rather than simply tear this post to shreds.

The #1 slot will be for the winner of Bradley-Alexander but he will still have to face Khan to be the true champion.

And we're now back to the point of my article.

Was asking Sanman08, though. His post didn't suggest this point. If it did, then he completely missed my point while throwing me under the bus in the process.

I agree Tim has the best resume at 140, and if he wins against Devon, it solidifies him as #1 at JWW.
I agree..I think people are getting jumpy because they feel we are saying these guys are better then Khan..Ranking wise if Alexander beats Bradley the ranking should look like this..

                    Alexander
                    Khan
                    Bradley

IMO Khan has done a lot and deserves credit for it..But its not like Alexander has done nothing he is a unified Champ Khan has not done that..The race is close and all need to fight each other to prove who is the best, but as far as ranking go the winner of this fight should be ranked num1..

This fight is not for the ring belt because, neither alex or brad are with goldenboy. The two best @ 140 not fighting for the ring belt, now that's corruption.
