VK was injured in the byrd fight and lewis ran away from VK/Lewis II cuz he knew VK had his number.

so, what we have here is a coward (Lewis) vs a quitter (Klitschko).

except VK quit because of a torn rotator cuff (ever had one? yeah, it REALLY hurts). lewis turned down another fight because he doesnt like challenges.

No I didn't think you were saying Vitali and Lewsi never fought. You tried to sday Lewis avoided a challenge in a Vitali REMATCH and I said how dould he avoid Vitali when he already fought and beat him.

Please dont forget Lewis ALSO took the fight on 2 weeks notice. You seem to forget that little part. Lewis couldn have easily said no, but he took the fightand still won.

He look around and decides he doesn't have the motivation to go though another long camp and strap ont he gloves again. This is the exact time a fighter should leave the sport. He retires still the Champion, with all his money and most importantly all his brain cells.

He did the right thing by leaving when he did. Only a fool would try and knock him for getting out on time. In a sport where fans ***** all day long about greats hanging on to long one gets out right on time and people still try and knock.

Guys liek Morales and MAB and the other where not in the same situation.

VK was cut because of a jagged lace on lewis glove. and VK wasnt the guy who was staggering around the ring, looking like he was either about to get KOd or about to collapse due to exhaustion. even though lewis won the fight and the last two rounds, he had anything but the look of a winner (being blank eyed, open-mouthed, and wobbly).

winning a gold medal doesnt mean **** anymore. vassiliy jirov won a gold medal, look at his career.
