Very well said, hell lewis took out golata in the first round the same golata that was beating up bowe lol.

The real problem with Lennox is that he never really had any defining fights. He beat an aging Evander Holyfield, and the 2nd fight was very questionable as to who actually won it.

The Mike Tyson fight was a quick buck for Lennox. Mike was there to get some dough and get out.

Lennox's style was a little boring.

I actually think he was a little over rated. You can't totally fault Lennox for it, but the division was headed for the toilet after Holyfield got old.

my vote? Not an all-time great, but a solid champion.
Questionable? lol come on ppl with a freaking brains know lewis beat holyfield twice clearly. Lmao @ questionable. And by the way holyfield was the man in the heavyweights before lewis beat him so stop with the aging excuse thing. Lewis beat back then a very good fighters in vitali, mercer, a prime briggs, prime back then better tua, razor, rahman, prime mccall, stop golata in the first round ( same golata that was beating up bowe in those 2 fights). And lewis is not a boring fighter, his fights with briggs, vitali, razor and so on.

Alot of people thought the Holyfield rematch result was questionable. Thats boxing.

Prime McCall! lol. McCall stopped fighting, it was hardly a career defining victory. Plus he was KO'd my McCall. But thats another story.

I dont think he was overrated. He beat everyone.
IMO he stood a chance at beating anyone, but the greatest heavies would have whooped his ass.

Not overrated. A great champion. Best in his era.

But he was never a real fighter. He lacked the fighters attitude.
