When BOB ARUM Speaks, Do You Believe Him?

You gotta take what anyone in not only Boxing, but in Sports and Entertainment in a whole says with a grain of salt. Many athletes and actors give us reasons to believe they're full of ****, but in the end...what does it really matter to us?

In the case of Arum, he's been a Promoter just as long as some of our parents have been alive. Whether he's lied, stole, or whatever to get to where he is, he seems to still be one of the tops in the sport with other promoters surfacing over the years with some fading away and other being more successful. There aren't many promoters besides Don King who have gone through 4 generations of fighters and have managed to stay a float in an industry most casual skeptics would call "Dying".

But of course back to the point of the thread, since he's promoting Manny Pacquiao, he's the devil.

I see that a lot of people admit that Arum is a liar, and then they justify it by saying that "he is a promoter". As if 'boxing business' isn't business.

A boxing promoter is a businessman. He is either an honest businessman, or a dishonest one.

99% of people in Boxing are lying, not just Bob Arum. People dedicate entire threads to fighters ducking eachother. Pac fans blaming Floyd, Floyd fans blaming Pac, Haye fans blaming the Klits etc etc etc. It's all bull****, they're all ****ing lying.
