It makes perfect sense. Prescott is a bigger draw than this McCloskey dude, in this particular fight for sure, he's definately a harder fight for Khan, and he offers the greater reward. The only problem is with Prescott trying to make a huge lottery winning payday off this fight. He is worth no more than... 90/10 in the current stage of his career, no doubt he'd ask for something like 50/50.
Khan should rematch Prescott

That would be nice but...he would be criticized for it unless he did it in Prescott's preferred division. It makes perfect sense. McCloskey draws a decent crowd in his own right - and his fights are screened on terrestrial TV in Ireland. Dunno, how many Irish fight fans would travel to see him though.
But in terms of a PPV event, it would be easy to sell the Prescott fight. Prescott whopped Khan. All they have to do is show those 54-seconds over and over again.Comment

Prescott was a big lightweight and has since moved up to 140.
The Prescott fight should be a given at this point, but seeing as how the names circulating are lighter punches, it's obvious that they see Prescott as a bigger risk than most of us might. I see Prescott as one of the best available options for Khan as far as money (partly because Prescott will demand less than McKlosckey or Murray) and not pose much of a risk after the first few rounds.Comment

He should be itching to get the chance to get revenge especially as there aren't many people who even think Prescott is a particularly good fighter.
Maybe Khan really just can't handle taller fighters in the same way.Comment

prescott has khan second guessing himself..in public he thinks hes the man..but deep inside that fight has him doubting himselfComment

True indeed Quel bruh. I think Prescott is Khan's kryptonite(In Amir's mind). Prescott is always gonna have that mental edge on Amir, until Amir steps up and takes the challenge of rematching Prescott. If he doesn't he will forever be linked to him, and gain Bredis just that much more fame.Prescott was a big lightweight and has since moved up to 140.
