I would love to know the figures involved here.

I don't think Khan would get a £1m payday for fighting McCloskey and I'm pretty sure McCloskey never fought for more than a few thousand before.

They want Khan to be a star, so he gets the best trainer and has headline events on HBO. But now, they want to act like the opponents are getting a gift just by fighting Amir....as if he is a superstar. Well, sorry to tell you team Khan, when you are at "superstar" status, you are talking about big money.......all around, not just in your fighter's pockets. They are trying to pull some 85-15 or 90-10 bs on people and no one is a fool.

Khan will have no opponents and HBO will have to threaten him to find someone quick or they'll tell him who he has to fight.

60-40 for the crowd drawer is just about the right ratio. 70-30 is really stretching it to the limit and anything beyond that is just too much disrespect for the opponent.
