Should Evander Holyfield's boxing licence be withdrawn

    For his own good?

Would you let him carry on until he's brain damaged (or more brain damaged, if that's what you think ).

At what point is is irresponsible to let a fighter carry on?

Evander is not anyone elses property and he can do what he pleases with his own life and body.

He won his last fight and (in my opinion) solidly defeated Nikolay Valuev.

If he can beat a world champion, why shouldn't he be allowed to fight?

If he can pass a medical, he can fight

Thats not the licence issuers choice to decide

It is hard to take it away from him because he got a right to make a living. But I do think someone close to him should talk him into retiring for his own good.

Damn I met him last Thursday in LA at the WSB event. I asked for his autograph. He looked at my Media Pass, looked at me, looked at the pass, looked at the glove, looked at me, looked at the pass again, and this **** went on for about 40 seconds.

My point, the dude is past punch drunk. Yes he the RIGHT to make a living, and if he passes a medical exam he is cleared to fight. But damn man the dude I feel is about 5 - 6 punches away from being a veggie. Look at for the fighters safety please.

And no I did not get my autograph...and he kept my marker. #C'monSon

Thanks. This is my point exactly.

Listen to interviews with Evander these days, he's definitely different to 15 years ago.

Does the boxing industry have a responsibility to save Evander Holyfield from himself?

I think it's ridicilous when so called "fans" call for guys like Holyfield, RJJ etc etc to retire... Yeah they are shot beyond belief, old and risk hurting themselves... But they are grown men perfectley capable of making their own decisions. I assume they need the money, so let them make it by boxing if thats what they want... Would you rather see ole Holyfield flipping burgers at McD's? Boxing is his way of making a living... Personally I could't care less if he fought till he was 50 or more, it's his own choice...

I'd prefer to have Muhammad Ali walking around and talking like any other 69 year old man.

I don't think Evander can even wipe his own ass cheeks by himself anymore, let alone make a grown up decision. LOL!

Give me my ****in' marker back HOLYFIELD!
