He posts that same **** every time word for word like it's fact. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Klitschko nuthuggers are the pound-for-pound worst group of fans on this site.
The list in the article is laughable. It pains me that someone who describes Joe Frazier as a "solid pro" is being paid to write about boxing. I don't understand the logic in the decision to put Bowe at number three either, especially considering his thoughts on Frazier, who I feel has a similar resume in that they both have beaten one great fighter (Holyfield and Ali respectively) and sub-standard challengers. The difference between the two is that Frazier beat the far better fighter in Ali and only lost to all-time greats in Ali and Foreman. You wouldn't see Joe Frazier getting his ass kicked by Golota, before a lucky disqualification victory vis mental breakdown.Comment

Wasn't Lewis like 38 when they fought?Vitali Klitschko vs Lennox Lewis
THE TRUTH
Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.
Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis was badly hurt and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round. Lewis was getting outboxed, outworked, outlanded and was hurt several times in the fight.
punches landed
Vitali 156
Lewis 102
Lewis was exhausted, worn down and hurt from the accumulation of punches and was ready to get KTFO again, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was clearly the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.
All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis after the fight.
Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.
Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis again in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.
Lewis turned down 30 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.
Vitali dominated Lewis and scared his bitch ass into retirement.
George Foreman: "Vitali was winning the fight. Lewis got lucky. There has to be a rematch!"
Jim Lampley: "A lucky escape for Lewis who was clearly losing the fight"
Even Emanuel Steward was upset and pissed off at Lewis for blatantly ducking a Vitali rematch.
Lewis is scared to death of Vitali.Comment

Lewis was 37, not really that old for a heavyweight.
Vitali turns 40 in July and Wlad turns 35 in March.
Lewis was coming off the KO win over Tyson. In the Lewis-Tyson post fight interview Lewis stated "I'm like fine wine, I get better with age"
In an interview right before the Vitali fight, Lewis said "I'm at the peak of my powers, I will keep fighting for many more years"
Vitali dominated Lewis and scared him into retirement. That's a FACT.Comment

Vitali couldn't even KO an old Shannon Briggs in 12 rounds. Lennox Lewis dispatched a prime Shannon Briggs in 5 rounds.Comment

Shannon Briggs: "Vitali Klitschko is the best fighter I've ever fought, he is better than Lennox Lewis and George Foreman"
Lewis went life and death with Briggs. He was badly hurt several times and almost KTFO by Briggs.
Vitali is nearly 40 and is well past his prime. He is OLDER than Briggs. Vitali dominated every second of every round and destroyed Briggs. The fight should have been stopped. Any other ref or corner would've stopped the fight. Rounds 6,7,8,9,10,12 were all 10-8 rounds. It was a massacre. Prime Vitali would've KO'd Briggs.
Lewis couldn't stop Levi Billups.
Vitali KO'd Levi Billups in 2 rounds.
Lewis was brutally KTFO by Rahman.
Wlad easily destroyed Rahman.
Lewis went life and death with Mercer and won a controversial decision.
Wlad annihilated Mercer in 6 rounds. He became the first man to knockdown and KO Mercer.Comment

It's worth pointing out that, when Lewis retired, he'd won more fights than Vit had at the same age, against higher caliber opposition than Vitali has still seen, had unified the division (Vit still hasn't seen a uni fight) and had better wins already on his docket. He also didn't have four years off in his 30's so the chance of being burnt out and wanting to do something else with his life makes sense.
Vitali is a hell of a fighter whose timing ******. I think he's smart as hell in there, has great control of range, and a workrate that belies his size.
It's sad he has to hang his hat on what if and celebrating that he won a few early rounds against the closest thing to a great fighter he'll ever share a ring with outside of sparring with his bro. Think about how sad it is that Vitali's best moment as a pro was winning some rounds, getting the tide turned and his face shredded open, and losing.
The next best fighter he fought, he blew out his shoulder. And lost.
His best win (you know, an actual win) is either Corrie Sanders (a one handed golfer with exactly one credible win...guess who), Sam Peter, or Herbie Hide.
No.
Really.Comment

And what's wrong with Lennox Lewis' retirement? Should he carry on like Holyfield to please you? So what if he had a close call with Vitali, win, lose or draw does that change his legacy if he retires after a rematch anyway? Probably not. He realized after the Vitali fight that his skills are slipping and he no longer had the desire to fight. In other words he got old, it happens. Just because you didn't get to see him go out on a stretcher doesn't make him a coward. Marvin Hagler did the same thing so have some respect for a guy that knows when to say when.Lewis was 37, not really that old for a heavyweight.

I'm being a little cheeky on Sanders. He was a tough hombre and that one hand was a doozy (got to target well too). His fight with Rahman was savage stuff and he and Vit warred even if Sanders did show up ten pounds heavier than he should have. If he had the work ethic to go with the talent and in -ring heart he had, he might have made more noise than he did.Comment
