It doesn't matter a great deal what Cunningham says, because:
A) Alexander will probably lose to Bradley
B) Marquez probably wouldn't be interested in fighting Alexander
C) HBO would push for Alexander-Khan if Alexander beat Bradley

Funny how Team Alexander don't fancy it now Khan's got past Maidana. They are already talking their way out of fighting him.
At least Bradley genuinely wants to challenge himself against the best at 140. I hope he beats Alexander and fights Khan in July.
I just hope the Bradley/Alexander fight is even half as good as Khan/Maidana.

Is it January 29 yet? So sick of Cunnigham and Alexander running their mouths.
Like Gary Shaw said at the press conference, why does Cunningham do all the talking for Devon? Hopefully Bradley is victorious and we don't even have to worry about Devon not wanting to fight Khan.

2) if you read my post I said that most were Malignaggi fans.
Originally posted by Sweet Jesus View PostBuddy, I'm not gonna read past the first sentence of your post. If you're trying to argue that Amir Khan is by any means popular in America, you're gonna have to stop now. You don't live in this country, you don't understand the hierarchy of sports. This would be like me trying to tell you that Brian Urlacher is popular in England. Or that Tom Brady or Peyton Manning are popular in England. I would just be talking out of my ass. If the internet somehow went away, so would boxing in America. That is how dire it is. Take it as no offense that England's best fighter is as known in America as England's 1000th best soccer player. It's just the way it is.
but the point i'm trying to make is that Khan's two fights on HBO got good viewer ratings and that would certainly have increased Khan's profile with the public. And being in one of the fights of the year also helps. Devon Alexander has had a good career thus far but he isn't popular outside his hometown.
Khan is an entertaining boxer, that's why people like him and follow him. Alexander is less so. Khan also has more charisma.
...
And I know who Peyton Manning is, I follow NFL. You'd be surprised by how many people watch it and the live coverage it gets on Sky Sports and ESPN here.
