I'm not being nationalistic bias to any side. My favorite fighter of all time is Tito.

But, I recognize that Puerto Rico has not produce anybody greater than JCC, Chava, El Puas.

But, everything after that they're quite actually even.

I did not know a 35 year old Rafa Marquez and Arce were elite. They are battle tested warriors though and the PR fighters you mentioned are up and comers and not elite. Now Margs VS Cotto will be Good. The last elite Vs elite Pr VS Mexico was Segura making Calderon quit!! just saying though!!

I did not know a 35 year old Rafa Marquez and Arce were elite. They are battle tested warriors though and the PR fighters you mentioned are up and comers and not elite. Now Margs VS Cotto will be Good. The last elite Vs elite Pr VS Mexico was Segura making Calderon quit!! just saying though!!

He thinks that marquez after his 3 wars with vazquez moving up in weight is a great victory even though every one knew the result. Same with arce we all know he will loose arce is way past it and to small for vazquez.

Benitez was better than JMM, was he better than Finito? As in more skilled? I don't know but he was greater look at his resume and accomplishments. That is what you need to rank greatness.

Gomez and Ortiz are also greater than JMM. Tito is also greater than JMM again look at resume and accomplishments.

They rank higher than JMM and Finito.

Finito resume is kind of weak even though he's one of the most perfect skilled technician of my lifetime. And, the one thing saves him IMO with rankings it's his longevity with 20 title defenses. But, his resume as a whole with the names he really lacks. Too bad he didn't face Carbajal, Chiquita, and even/or Too Sharp.

I wouldn't even consider Finito nor JMM in the top 5 out of Mexico. I will put Canto Saldivar ahead of both.
