Comments Thread For: Katsidis vs Guerrero in Play For April 9 in Las Vegas

BoxingScene.com was advised that Golden Boy Promotions is interested in staging a lightweight clash between Michael Katsidis (27-3, 22KOs) and Robert Guerrero (28-1, 18KOs). The fight, should both boxers accept, would likely land on the pay-per-view undercard to Juan Manuel Marquez's potential fight with Erik Morales on April 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Katsidis is one fight removed from November's TKO loss to Marquez. Guerrero also saw action in November, winning a ten round decision over Vicente Escobedo.

This is a good fight, but JMM-Morales is gonna be PPV? Man, they are sucking the Mexican fans dry.

Kats dosen't need to worry about 4 or 5 punch combos.

Guerrero and Marquez's power are about the same.

And the last time he fought a southpaw it didn't turn out too well.

                Should be interesting.

With the exception that Robert Guerrero fights out of a southpaw stance. He is quite similar to Kevin Mitchell. I think Michael Katsidis has a good chance to get a good comeback win here.
