Of course this is sour g****s from ODLH, but then again I don't blame him. Oscar did more for Mosley and his career than Mosley will ever know. He got his biggest payday fights because of Oscar. Not only that he made him a GB partner, when he did not have to. Lets face it Shane has never been a draw on his own. He never had those big ratings and paperview numbers when he fought Winky Wright, Vernon Forrest, Luis Collazo, or even when he fought Mora. He was always the B side to the equation. Earning big ratings only against other fighters, who already had their own following: DLH, Margarito, Miguel Cotto, Mayweather.

The reason Oscar was picking Marquez instead of him to fight Pacquiao, was because Oscar was also thinking about what was best for the company. The company both him and Shane were a part of.
And on Cinco De Mayo weekend in Vegas a fight with Mexico's number one fighter with two great fights already against Manny would have sold a lot more than the fight we're getting now.

Pretty true,Mosley is very easy to nego with that's why he fought so many Top Rank guys..But then ya got the Diva's like Hoya and FMJ no fights can be made always some kinda excuse or *****ing up..

Oscar didn't make a big deal about it because at that time he and Mosley were still business partners. I recall after that rematch loss in 2003, Oscar was demanding an investigation about the judging. Can you imagine how Oscar would've reacted if the Balco-Mosley scandal came out in 2003???

Oscar is just an idiot when it comes to making statements to the media! He doesn't even have the capacity to appear intelligent. He's the epitome of the pretty boy puppet.

DLH did a lot for Mosley. Again Mosley would never have gotten those big paydays without him. Mosley has never, ever been a draw on his own. Even after he beat Oscar he still remained a shadow, no one was really interested in seeing him fight.

Mosley's name is bigger today because he was affilitated with Oscar De La Hoya, and GoldenBoy Promotions.

Golden Boy never held Mosley back, the blame if on anyone should be on his wife. She was the one making suggestions like fighting Winky Wright instead of DLH III.
Oscar helped rebuild him by getting the two victories against Vargas, a fight with Puerto Rican Collazo, in order to get him the bigger fight against another Puerto Rican with a huge follwing in Miguel Cotto! It wasn't Oscar's fault that Mosley lost that fight.
