If Hatton wins it will be by decision. There is no way the Hatton hurts maussa because Harris hit him with some bombs that would have knocked a normal man out. Maussa reminds me of when homer simpson boxing only drederick tattom knocks out maussa.

I wouldn't go so far as to say he has more right to be champ then maussa does. Even though is is ugly and goofy, maussa still won the belt by KO'ing Harris.

All I am saying is, this is a big step up in competition for Maussa but it's a step down for Hatton. Hatton isn't proving anything to me if he takes this fight.

IMO hatton deserves more to be champ. hatton's undefeated and beat a modern legend in kostya tszyu.

maussa beat an overhyped and protected vivan harris and was KOd by a green and then-unproven miguel cotto.

having said that, who do you think is more respectable as a champion?

I can admittingly tell you I can't give you an unbiased opinion.

I naturally don't like Ricky Hatton. Can't really say why. I don't want to make excuses for Zoo, I will admit that Hatton beat him, BUT, I just think on any other night, Zoo would have won.

Now, Ricky Hatton was undefeated, but the fact that Maussa was probably hand picked to loose to Harris, came in there and won, shows he had what it took on that night.

No, he can't. Hatton will beat his ass and KO him.

Harris was picking shots from the outside, and with decreasing regularity as he got tired early.

Whatever I think of Hatton, he NEVER gets tired. His stamina is first rate. So a Maussa who went six (and a tiny bit) rounds with Harris will have to go twelve full rounds with a Hatton that will be on his chest from the first bell to the last.

I have Hatton TKOing Maussa just through sheer volume of punches and completing what is a sound business decision. Maintained profile and two belts to bring to the table.

(Of course, it's easy to forget that Zoo was Emeritus Champ for the WBC too... while Hatton obviously didn't win that, surely it gives Ricky the right to say he's got just as much claim to be the man in that division, too, until it's settled?)

you think Harris hits harder than Hatton? I disagree

Hatton is smart for doing this, because if he has 2/3 belts, Mayweather HAS to fight him or it's considered ducking.
