here is where you have to walk this halfwit through the fact that Manny currently holds a JMW title and Serg will fight him at 154.

      Good luck with that.

Although I would love to see Pac and Floyd promote themselves and cut Arum and ODLH out of the big fight. Wouldn't that be hilarious. I think they would be moved to suicide from losing out on all that money.
GBP, is already in the rear view mirror!!!

All this news does is let Floyd know he can wait it out until Manny gets a little older and slower before he has to fight him. This was not the smartest thing for Arum to say, even if it's true...

If he is as good as you think he is, then he can meet Pac in November 2011 for a superfight! (of course unless Mayweather gets out of his hiding place first).
pac holds Martinez vacated belt at 154...

Manny is carrying the sport on his back right now and he's in his prime and seems to add a new wrinkle to his game every time out. No need to retire when you're not only at your peak, but you're also getting better... and not to mention the tens of millions of dollars he can make from fighting, endorsements, etc.

I can guarantee that a Cotto rematch at 154 will happen unless Miguel takes on Martinez and gets Paul Williams'ed, but then maybe we'll get Pac-Sergio at 154-155 next year.

There's Berto, Marquez, Bradley/Alexander, Alvarez, etc definitely more fights to be made down the line.

But this must be horrible news for Floyd fans, the 'vacation' was just extended for another few years
He might just fight Khan... GBP is already floating the idea.
