I would be very excited to see Pac against that bunch. It's about time we get to see Pac take on some young athletic fighters. I was really hoping the Berto fight went through.

Same here.. He has no other options in this coming year after the Mosley fight.. So we might end up seeing Manny fight the 140 lb'ers.. or climb up to face Martinez.. Either one of those situations would be intriguing.

Still hoping for that Floyd/Manny match up though.

Good to hear

Manny is carrying the sport on his back right now and he's in his prime and seems to add a new wrinkle to his game every time out. No need to retire when you're not only at your peak, but you're also getting better... and not to mention the tens of millions of dollars he can make from fighting, endorsements, etc.

I can guarantee that a Cotto rematch at 154 will happen unless Miguel takes on Martinez and gets Paul Williams'ed, but then maybe we'll get Pac-Sergio at 154-155 next year.

There's Berto, Marquez, Bradley/Alexander, Alvarez, etc definitely more fights to be made down the line.

But this must be horrible news for Floyd fans, the 'vacation' was just extended for another few years

I don't think he needs to fight 6 more times. I would say if the Mayweather fight doesn't go down this year then give up on it and fight once or twice more before retirement.

I wouldn't be surprised with a Cotto rematch.. especially if Cotto beats Margarito. No way Tony gets another shot at Manny though...

It's either Bradley/Alexander/Khan, Floyd, Martinez.. wouldn't be too thrilled with Marquez (age, can't carry the weight well above 135) or Berto (not proven, dude needs to fight somebody worth anything at WW.. Clottey/Marg/Cotto. He had trouble with Collazo )..
