I think Byrd can hit harder than he usually hits. I think he looks to win fights by decision. I guess he doesn't like stopping fighters..

I think if Byrd tried to hit as hard as possible, he wouldn't be able to carry out his startegy that generates his wins.. which is to dodge and dip and manuver to victory. I know that I would be intimidated and loose the will if every punch i threw only hit air
