Who did this guy beat that made people think he was that good besides Soto is what I want to know? He got his ass handed to him by Funeka in the first fight when he didn't have a weight advantage. I don't want to offend my Dominicanos, but I just don't see what was special about the dude.

The Soto fight was much closer than those bogus cards indicated too. I think Soto should've had a rematch.

C'mon now it was a pretty clear cut win for Guzman even if he lost the 1st fight and clearly a temple shot that put Funeka down.......that win isn't debatable in anyway.

Guzman has some SERIOUS weight issues!! He's got talent, but can't make the weight!! Now he's being fined & suspended for 9 months for taking a diuretic which is suppose to make him loose weight easier & STILL COULDN'T make the weight!!! & to make it even worst, he took the same S H I T his previous opponent(Funeka) took & Guzman KNOWS that Funeka got caught in Nevada & was fined & suspended, but yet WENT AHEAD & DID THE SAME S H I T!! WHAT AN IDIOT!!! Now with all that time off, Guzman will come back as a HEAVY weight & this way since there's NO limit in that division he won't have to worry about making the weight!!! He'll probably look like a little 55 gallon drum!!

Guzman spent rounds 6-12 literally running away.

People like to **** on Oscar for running from Tito in the last 3 rounds, but Guzman "put on a clinic" on Soto when he ran for 6 rounds.

He didn't want none of Soto after the first 5 rounds.

Guzman is a waste of talent, true he didn't accomplish much but if he would of then I don't think you could call him a waste of talent. But, since he didn't accomplish a damn thing and you see his talent in the ring then yes he's a pretty big waste of talent cuz' he could of done more.

I agree with the Soto fight. I had it 115-113(7 rounds-5 rounds) for Guzman. I thought he put on a great performance in the first half of the fight and then Soto were coming off strong at the 2nd half of the fight just ran out of rounds. Not a schooling at all but Guzman was the clear winner IMO.
