I gotta say before i start, NOBODY is a bigger Khan fan than wazza! lol

And if i were Amir Khan i think id push for a Floyd fight, Floyd should win it but i think the risk/reward ratio is a good one. Khan would hit Mayweather. Thats something we aint used to seeing. Khan would have a speed advantage, again unusuall and look at the problems Zab Judah caused with his speed advantage. Floyd has such a great skill set and is a phenominal fighter he has to be the pick but Khan has as good a shot as anyone not called Pacquaio. The money would be huge for Amir and if he wins he is the number 1 - 2 fighter on the planet, should he lose - it was Mayweather what did u expect!

      its certainly worth the risk.
Khan isn't a southpaw. His hand speed would mean little against Mayweather as unlike Pacquiao his punches come from predictable angles. Mayweather would time and spank Khan.

whoops, youre right, my brain must have turned off there.

I still think Khan would give Mayweather trouble, as his punches, while predictable, are very quick and difficult to counter since hes in and out so fast.

I still would expect Mayweather to win of course, hes far more multidimensional and better than Kotelnik....but risk-reward wise....its a fight I would take if I were Khan.
mayweather pressuring khan with a high guard does NOT favor khan. more like increases khans chances of getting ko'd. mayweather sitting behind a philly shell trying to out box khan favors khan....WTF dude.

MARK MY WORDS, if the fight EVER happens. mayweather won't even try to box khan because he knows theres no need for it. he & everyone already know khans weaknesses. mayweather will turn into A body & head puncher much like in the judah fight.....

if khan beats alexander or bradley,or both, then becomes top light welterweight.

And then moves to 147,proves he can fight and beat a top welterweight, only then can he go after floyd.

But with maybe another years time, more experience, more wins, and being improved.

Khan could beat floyd, who would most likely be inactive also, and older.

khan has the strong jab,he can time and land fast punches on a moving target, like he did so easily agiasnt malignaggi.

he has blistering combinations, and fast counters.

he has the footwork, and foot speed/fast movement to close down floyd, hit floyd and get out of range, catch floyd where he thinks hes out of range.

khan has the upper body defense quickness to avoid fast pot shots,he can get under and away easily,he can keep a tight guard.

he doesnt gas out and is busy every round, like he did vs kotelnik.

he can stick to a game plan, unlike oscar or shane.

Well, you can believe whatever makes you happy, but Mayweather in my opinion does not have the punching power to seriously hurt Khan in that sort of style, while Khan would very much enjoy simply bouncing combos off of Mayweathers guard.(even though I still wouldnt favor him to win)

Khan has never shown weakness to an orthodox high guard pressure style, hes shown weakness to more unpredictable power punchers and guys that get in his chest.

not quite what Mayweather does while coming forward. hes more along the line of what Winky used to do, with variations.

No they wouldn't be difficult to counter punch because as I said his punches are predictable and he is too rhythmatic making it easy for him to time.

People keep focusing on the fact that Khan hasn't ''displayed weaknesses'' against certain tactics but they ignore the fact that he hasn't shown proficiency against an equal amount.

Floyd Mayweather would spank his ass all over the rink.

duuuuude. put down the liquor. Breidis Presscott is a high guard orthodox pressure fighter who i believe has LESS power then mayweather....he knocked khan out with ease due to having a little zip on his punches..khan will not be bouncing combos off of mayweathers guard because he would be countered from the jump. thus making him a lot more tentative & passive in a fight with mayweather....mayweather isn't a slow smaller maidaina. when mayweather comes forward he is quick EXTREMELY accurate. & his stamina is through the roof compared to khan who fights good the first 5 rounds & then gets very very tired.

                  wake up.

Floyd is way better than Malignaggi. Khan embarassed the magic man.
